Fini Broadbery er almindeligt kendt som jazzpianist, men startede sin musikalske karriere som sanger i Københavns Drengekor. Han kombinerer disse to udtryksformer ved denne koncert, hvor han optræder som både pianist og vokalist. Kombinationen af Finis bløde og rene vokal med hans til tider rå og kompromisløse klaverstil gør musikken livlig og nærmest legende let. Denne aften gæster han La Fontaine med en ny sammensat kvartet med nogle af landets fineste musikere.

Fini Broadbery is primarily known as a jazz pianist. However, few people are aware that he began his musical career as a singer in the Copenhagen Boys’ Choir. In this concert, he combines both roles as a pianist and vocalist. The blend of Fini’s smooth and polished vocals with his, at times, intense and uncompromising piano style infuses the music with liveliness and a playful lightness.

This night, he will be performing at La Fontaine with a newly composed piece alongside some of the country’s finest musicians.
