Repertoiret består af groovy melodisk jazz med referencer til latin, reggae og filmmusik. Trioen har udgivet tre EP’s og et album. Det er det 6. album fra Mads Hansen med egne kompositioner og det første album med Kjeld Lauritsen og Rasmus Lund.

Mads Hansen er en kendt skikkelse i dansk jazz. Samtidig med at han er en original komponist og saxofonist, antyder hans varme lyd også inspiration fra Stanley Turrentine og Michael Brecker. Anmeldere kalder ham en funky romantiker. Kjeld Lauritsen blev kåret som årets musiker ved DMA Jazz 2022 og Rasmus Lund er ligeledes en kendt og rost musiker på den danske musikscene.

Denne aften får trioen følge af den virtuose guitarist Per Gade som bl.a. er kendt fra DR Big Band.

The trio of Mads Hansen, Kjeld Lauritsen, and Rasmus Lund has released three EPs and one album. It is Mads Hansen’s sixth album featuring his compositions and the first collaboration with Kjeld Lauritsen and Rasmus Lund.

Mads Hansen is a well-known figure in the Danish jazz scene, and his music is both original and warm, reminiscent of artists like Stanley Turrentine and Michael Brecker. Critics have described him as a “funky romantic.” Kjeld Lauritsen was named musician of the year at the 2022 DMA Jazz Awards, while Rasmus Lund is also a highly regarded musician in the Danish music industry.

For the performance, the talented guitarist Per Gade joins the trio. He is known for his work with the DR Big Band, among other projects.
