Niclas Knudsen er kendt bl.a. fra gruppen Ibrahim Electric og Hans Ulrik er – udover meget andet – en af de stærke solister i DRBigBandet. Niclas Knudsen/Hans Ulrik Quartet is a new constellation with some of the most exciting jazz musicians in Denmark right now. Niclas is well known for participating in the band Ibrahim Electric, which has toured worldwide for two decades. Hans is a leading figure in the Danish Radio Big Band and has, among other things, done several releases with Steve Swallow. Matthias Petri and Espen Laub Von Lillienskjold are some of the strongest and most swinging rhythm sections you can get. The music is a mix of old classics and originals, with the groove in focus, music for the ears and the feet.
